Free High-Efficiency Toilets - Installation Included!
The toilet is FREE – and we send the plumber out to install it!
Central Basin Municipal Water District has been awarded a conservation grant from the California Department of Water Resources, which includes funding through the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California to provide free High-Efficiency Toilets, including installation for qualifying multi-family properties.
This program was designed by Central Basin Municipal Water District to be a simple way for you to add value to your property investment while conserving water. Participation is easy, hassle-free and completely Free to you! Southwest Environmental will work with you to pre-qualify your property. Once it has been determined that your property qualifies, Southwest Environmental will work with you to schedule your retrofit. Southwest Environmental’s team of professional plumbers can replace anywhere from 20-100 toilets per day depending on your needs and specific requirements. Each toilet retrofit includes:
- Removal and Recycling of old toilets
- New High-Efficiency Toilet (Tank and Bowl type toilets)
- Professional Installation of new High-Efficiency Toilet
- New Toilet Seat
- New Wax Seal
Program Eligibility Requirements:
Existing toilets must consume 3.5 gallons of water per flush or more in order to qualify for replacement. For help identifying the flush volume of your existing toilets click here
Property must be a Multi-Family (Apartment) dwelling with 5 or more individual residential units
Multi-Family property must be located within the Central Basin Municipal Water District’s service area.
If your property meets the above requirements please call Southwest Environmental at (800) 307-5700 to pre-qualify your property. Please be prepared with the following information:
- Property Name and Address
- Number of residential units
- Total number of toilets at property
- Name and Phone Number of Primary Contact Person
- Copy of Water Bill (Please be prepared to either fax or email a copy)
